Danny provided an update on conditions at the club today. He said logging trucks (tractor trailers with chips) were driving out (and in) about 1-per-hour this afternoon. The roads are packed snow (little or no exposed dirt) and good for snowmobiles. He thinks a snowmobile may have to drive onto the bank (1-2 ft high) at some places to pass trucks you may meet, and the banks are quite “hard”. It would be wise to carry a shovel to knock them down (if needed). The rails are not groomed near our parking lot, but possibly passible with care. Other trails north (and west?) of Horseshoe Lake are groomed.
