Nearly 20 cabins were relocated and several were burned in 2001 and 2002 just before lands near Bog Lake and Clear Pond were transferred to The Nature Conservancy (and later to New York State). The old lodge which stood on the shores of Bog Lake for many decades was dismantled and moved off the property by a third party (buyer). The images below show the original Robinwood Lodge, its deconstruction and removal, and the burning of several private cabins (under a town permit); hold your cursor over images to view captions.
